9.2, not reading full lines

I have installed version 9.2 and it isn't reading full lines, such as 
complete file names, lines on a web page or the settings in the WE 
control panel.  For example, in the control panel, WE will read hot 
instead of hot key.  What do I need to change to fix this.  I'm using 
a triple talk pci synth and Windows 7 professional.  Also, 
ctrl-shift-t no longer gives me the state of a window, just the first 
part of the title.
