Hi Sky, No, I am not seeing this with Word 2010. The only thing I can think of is to suggest that you be sure the document window is maximized. I use the Window Manager app, and set Word windows to always get maximized when they're opened.
Also, is it possible the document you are working with has some blank lines in it? Have you tried more than one document?
