The 30 days thing is only true if you're doing something strange with your setup i.e. constantly switching back-and-forth between OS via hard drives, or trying to combine parts from one Windows version with another or something crazy like that.

No where does it ever say that you only get 30 days to roll back your system. If you have downloaded it the legal way with out trying to fool the system than you have nothing to worry about. You can always return to your previous OS at any time.

Wrong for the first 30 days. You can roll back to your previous version. After
that, there's no going back. Who said Windows 10 deletes any recovery
partitions? If true, that's not good especially for those who bought PCs
preinstalled with Windows 7, 8 or 8.1.

I thought that once Windows 10 was installed there was no going back? Is that
wrong?

Subject: Windows 10 gone

Should have taken the advise to wait on the Windows 10 upgrade. I continued to
have problems with WE not reading anything in the file explorer. Thought I had
it fixed but no such luck. I have now gone back to Windows 8.1 and hope what
ever the problems are whether it is a WE or Windows issue get fixed soon. Just
a note reverting back to Win 8.1 was painless.
