Yes you can do that.but ifyou want to have the up to date version of office
then you can go through the office 365 subscription route of $7 a month for
one machine and $10  a month for 5 machines. But you have to renew every
year.  I hope this helps you out.

Hello, is microsoft office 2013 a program you have to pay for annually, or
can you buy a copy from the store, install it, and that's it? I was told I
would have to pay a subscription fee of over a hundred dollars a year, every
