Really good to know the task bar is available. Would hate to waste so much
time arrowing and tabbing around.

Windows-t will get you to the task bar. You can use first letter
navigation. You can use first letter navigation on the desktop.
You cannot use first letter navigation in all apps.
However if you tab past the apps list, you can select a letter to work with
such as w. You can't first letter navigate there either.
To go back to the list of apps beginning with W just select it and
shift-tab.

Is there no longer a task bar where first letter navigation can be used?

Is it possible to use first letter navigation in the user-created desktops?

Is first letter navigation possible anywhere in Windows 10?

Thanks.

Hi Chris,
I would recommend you check out the Windows 10 audio tutorial we recorded as
it contains an overview of the new Start menu. Here is the direct link:

Thanks,
Marc

I've actually heard that the W10 start menu is quite different in some
respects, so yeah, if someone could describe how to navigate it, that would
be very! very very appreciated!

Chris.
