Hello, Yes, Window-Eyes 9.2 works on Windows Vista. If you are having difficulty downloading the upgrade, you can try visiting the upgrade page at www.gwmicro.com/upgrade, entering your serial number in the edit box provided, and downloading the update. If that doesn't work, please give us a call and we can get the file to you another way.
Window-Eyes 9.2 will not run on Windows XP. It is quite possible for the site not to allow a download to a PC running XP. Why not download it to a PC running a more modern operating system? Although GW do not support WE 9.2 on XP, you might then be able to move it to that PC, having taken suitable back-ups first, and see if it will run on it. Bear in mind that if it fails you will need to use a different screen reader solution to recover your speech output. Note that this is not an approach I would advocate at all.
