Chris type default apps into the search box when it comes up then tap and
there will be an option to select default apps then enter on that. There
will bea a list box of all choices, arrow down the list of programs and
applications, internet explorer or whatever browser you want to be the
default browser and hit enter on it then tab and there will be a box that
will ask you if you want to make it be default program or application, then
enter on that and hit ok an there you go your default program or apps are
now changed to whatever you want them to be the default. I have done this
with browser, video/audio player, email, and a few other apps that I did not
wwant to be the default Microsoft programs or applications.

How're you doing it?

The easiest way to get this done is:

1. Press your windows key. You'll hear Cortana search. Now, type in:

default browser

You'll hear Default Browser Setting.

Press enter.

Now, you'll land on a button that will say most likely, Microsoft Edge.
Press enter, then use your tab key. You now want to tab to the button title
the browser of your choice, like Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox,
whatever. Press enter on its corresponding button. You'll now be taken
back where you were before, but instead of seeing Microsoft Edge button,
you'll now see a b utton titled the name of the web browser you want to use,
most likely Internet Explorer, as your default. That's it! You're all
done!

NO OK or apply button. Just hit alt F4, and bam!

Does this help?

Chris.
