Hi Dave, I don't know if there are bugs in it or not; I did check the documentation, and you are not supposed to have to change browse mode at all; just turning on web application mode is supposed to then stop window-eyes from responding to anything other than the four basic arrow keys; everything else is supposed to be passed to the web application for it to process (presumably also except for the web application mode toggle hotkey as well).
Have you tried IE to see if the issues are related to FireFox?
