Hello Jeremy. Thank you for this reassurance. At time of v9.2 release, I purchased and paid for the Software Maintenance agreement, affirming my confidence in continued development of Window-eyes.
However: Window-eyes has languished. As one of those loyal customers, whereas I would have once upon a time renewed my SMA without hesitation, I held off to see how things might develop. A product like the talked about composite screen reader and magnification software makes sense for a company like AI Squared, but I notice lagging support for braille, an unwillingness to offer online purchasing outside of the United States, and insufficient differences between what people get for the Window-Eyes for Office product and those who pay for our Window-Eyes licenses. Having Window-Eyes ready for Windows 10 was clearly and correctly the to priority, but the issues I have raised actually have nothing to do with Windows 10, and everything to do with keeping Window-eyes at the forefront of screen reader choices which users do make. All the best and I hope the above has been helpful.
