Hi, A long forgotten feature of Microsoft Office is the ability to have sound events play for different tasks. Some events such as autocorrect deleting text can be confirmed with sound feedback.
I have recorded a short podcast on installing and enabling these sounds. The feature works with Office 97 all the way up to Office 2016 preview. I must admit I couldn't get the sounds working on a system I installed the 2016 preview on without uninstalling it and installing 2013. The sounds installation said I didn't have Office installed. Installing 2013, installing the sounds and activating them before 2016 allows them to work in 2016 preview. I'm thinking the 2016 installer didn't put something somewhere. Well for those interested here is a link to the podcast. http://www.mysticaccesspodcast.com/2015/08/09/sounds-sounds-and-more-sounds-in-microsoft-office-for-windows/ Chris Window-Eyes Product Support Ai Squared 725 Airport North Office Park Fort Wayne, IN 46825 (802) 362-3612 www.aisquared.com<http://www.aisquared.com> _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
