Hi Joe,

Yes, it looks like Window-Eyes is losing focus.
Try restarting Window-Eyes and allowing the prompt for updates to come up
again. If you're still getting the problem, press Escape to get all the way
out of all Window-Eyes dialogs, and then run the check for app updates
process yourself manually:
1. Press Control-Backslash to open the Window-Eyes control panel
2. Press Alt-A to open the Apps menu.
3. Press right arrow to expand the highlighted option, namely, App
Management.
4. Arrow down to Add or Remove apps, and press Enter.
5. Tab to the Check for updates button and press Enter.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: app updates

Morning all,

When automatic app updates are available, app udates runs, I hear the sound
advising that app updates are available, but I can't find the dialogue to
accept the updates. It isn't on the taskbar, sys tray or anywhere. This
has
worked for years, but now has stopped.

windows 7 64 bit, we 9.2.

any ideas?

Joe
