I guess what happened is that I had jumped from 8.0 to 9.0 and I had figured I could bypass 8.4. The only way to fix it was to completely uninstall Window-Eyes and use all the packages I had, one at a time, in the proper order. Unless I am wrong about that, I don't think they will help much with GoldWave 5.7, since the set files have names like GW5.xx. However, I wrote an app called GoldWave Enhance which uses three hotkeys to speak the start, end and total time of the selected sound clip, and so at least this may help. Are you familiar with the AppGet utility which is installed with Window-Eyes? This allows you to display the list of available apps in the App repository on the AI Squared web site. If you are, then you can install GoldWave Enhance that way, and you will find it in the Multimedia category. But when I go to the we control panel and read the title, it still says Window-eyes something, associated none. I have forgotten how to associate the goldwave set files into we. So far, reading through the latest tutorial, I cannot find out that information. I am working on a important time sensitive project, so I would greatly appreciate any expert advice.
