This task can be completed using the Ribbon. Press Alt-V to move to the View 
tab. Then press L to move to the Layout grid toolbar. This is where it gets a 
bit tricky. The grid presents you with a number of options in three rows and 
three columns. You can use the arrow keys to move through the items.  Up and 
Down to move by row. Left and Right to move by column. The List item is 
positioned in row 2 column 2. At least it is on my system. Once you arrow to 
List, press Enter. Good luck.
