Hi, This was probably covered, but Virtual view comes with Window-eyes, so you already have it. It just needs to be updated. The next time you start Window-eyes you'll be prompted for the app update. You can also go to apps/app management/add or remove apps and select the check for updates button.

But I'd like to point out that computer programmers, software writers and general computer geeks or nerds, always write with a lot of assumed knowledge. They just assume all folks know what they know. And of course we don't. Case in point is your email. You mentioned virtual view. But didn't say what is it, where do we get it, and what is the cost if any. You just assumed. So please could geeks and nerds and others, realise that many of us aren't buried head first in to a computer all day and every day. It's just a tool we use, to live our lives. This comment can be applied to 99 per cent of geeks and nerds. So please could the we squared staff, remember to write from the users's point of view when communicating? Just a friendly tip. All the best, Ross. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Aaron Smith via Talk Sent: Thursday, 5 November 2015 7:34 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Introducing Virtual View 5.0 Virtual View 5.0 now supports exciting new features such as the ability to OCR images from files or the screen, plus virtualizing various document formats, including PDF files. Here are some other features: * You can open an image in any format (jpg, bmp, png, tiff, etc.). * If you press Alt-Print Screen to capture the active window, Virtual View will automatically OCR it for you. * The Virtual View options dialog lets you control image manipulation to increase OCR success. * Supports UAC, allowing you to get contents (specifically UIA) from windows that are elevated. * Images inside PDF files are prepended with [BEGIN IMAGE] and appended with [END IMAGE]. * You can choose several different kinds of file formats to virtualize, including: * Txt * Html * Xml * Zip * And if you have Office installed: ? Docx ? Xlsx ? Pptx Imagine a Word document filled with text boxes and word art. That information will show up as plain text when passed through Virtual View. Spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations are the same way. If you want to quickly skim a PowerPoint presentation without opening PowerPoint, use Virtual View. With zip files, Virtual View can open the zip file and get the text of all text files. At the very least, you can get a list of the files in the archive. -- Aaron Smith Web Development * App Development * Product Support Specialist Ai Squared * 725 Airport North Office Park, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 260-489-3671 * www.aisquared.com To insure that you receive proper support, please include all past correspondence (where applicable), and any relevant information pertinent to your situation when submitting a problem report to the Ai Squared Technical Support Team. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
