The Java Access Bridge will only help if the Java application in question uses
certain types of user interface components that support accessibility. In other
words, the Java Access Bridge doesn't automatically add accessibility to any
Java application. It is still up to the Java application developer to
implement accessible controls on their end that work with the Java Access
Bridge.

This is why you would need to make sure that the Java Access Bridge is
installed.

Probably not. While Javascript is used on almost every modern website,
Java is rarely used. Exceptions to this rule include online games and
some proprietary Web applications in the work place. And most Java
applications have compatibility issues with AT like screen readers.
