When I press Control+M after making a call, the microphone is muted. If I press this command again, the microphone is unmuted. Window-Eyes continues talking and I can navigate around without issue while the microphone is muted. Not sure why you are getting different results. I am running Window-Eyes 9.2 on a Windows 8.1 PC using Skype 7.12.85.101. The Skype webinar recording includes a demonstration of searching the Skype directory, sending and accepting a contact request. Marc
