Insert-E brings up a dialog with the attributes of the element you are currently on. Windows-A toggles on and off the on-the-fly attribute change announcements.

When I use this feature, I hear the attribute spoken, and when the text
returns to normal or some other attribute, it is spoken. In your
example, you should hear the word bold where the bolding starts and the
word normal when it ends.

Subject: atributes in word

When I am using word 2010 I know I can check the attributes of text with
the keystroke Insert + e. How can you check the specific attributes of
a sentence to find which word is bold, italic, or underlined?
When I check a sentence to see what the attributes are, WE will say
bold, but I don't know which word is bold or if the entire sentence is
bold.
Thanks
