Hi, I had a similar problem some months ago and some new
batteries and a simmle retune got rid of the problem. This might
not do for you but it wohked for me.

Subject: choppy sound from WE.
Hi, I�셫 running WE 9.3 Windows 10. I have an HDMIcable to my
tv, when I choose the sound to go through the tv instead of the
speakers that I have plugged into the back of the pc. The sound
breaks up and sometimes just doesn�셳 speak. It was doing this
on both the speakers and the tv. I went into to the sound
settings and checked the box �쐂isable all enhancements�� this
fixed the jproblem with the speakers, but when I choose to have
the sound over the tv it�셲 still choppy. Any Ideas??
