Hello all, I’m trying hard to learn Window-Eyes. I have the most current release as of today. I have been a JAWS user for many years, and am trying hard to make the switch.
I am very frustrated with keyboard layouts. My laptop has a numpad, but does not have a dedicated six-pack set of keys. It does have separate arrow keys other than the numpad arrow keys. No matter which layout I try, either default or laptop, I find certain keys don’t seem to work. It is very frustrating trying to use the mp3 tutorials when, for example, key commands for moving the cursor don’t work. Or, the delete key won’t delete a message in WLM. Can anyone help me get a layout that works? Is it best to ignore the tutorials altogether? Seems very confusing so far.
