Hi Jim: No, didn't do that.
How do I do it correctly?
Do I uninstall WindowEyes completely somehow and then download and install
the most recent version?

Hi, after you upgraded to windows 10 did you run the we installer again? You
need to do this to have we work properly with windows 10.

Subject: Funky Reading After WE 9.3.1 and Windows10 Upgrades

Hi:
I upgraded to windowEyes 9.3.1 and later upgraded to Windows10 yesterday.
I had to ReActivate my copy of Eloquence and selected a diferent voice after
the Windows10 upgrade.
Today I am starting to evaluate the new setup.
I am getting the beginning of words and sometimes letters reading twice,
once in a very quiet voice and then the remainder of the word in the much
louder voice setting I have setup for the screen and Eloquence.
Now, say I am on my Desktop.
If I arrow dup and down quickly the entire line, first worrd first
characters, are read with the correct voicing and the word has no
hesitation, it just sounds like the word should sound.
If I wait a few seconds and up or down arrow I hear what sounds like the
first letter, or letters, of the first word is not being included in the
word and the word heard might be something like;
is Computer
instead of
This Computer.
But, listening carefully I am actually getting the first letter, or few
letters being read in a lower volume and perhaps my old Eloquence voice
settings - cant tell for sure followed by the very slightest of pauses and
then the rest of the word read in the correct voice but as if the first
letter or 2 were not included in the word being read in the normal, correct,
voicing.
This happens in all my deskTop programs and happens when tabbing around as
well and even in notepad with ctrl-arrow left or right, read word.
If i ttype something I might also get a funky reading of a letter as I type
like 2 voices, one diferent are trying to run at the same time but slightly
out of phase but again if I type normally, not waiting a few seconds to type
the letter it sounds ok - perhaps.
This happens for both first letters where capitalized and when in lower
case.
Anyone else having this, or another problem, related to first letter or
first few letters not being read or read in a diferent voicing when reading
or typing?
