Try Windows-D instead of Windows-M.
And if you're doing it the second you hear Window-Eyes I'd give it a
little while to finish starting up. Boot up speed is a bit of an
illusion. The desktop comes up before everything is actually loaded and
ready to roll.

that doesn’t work. I tried hitting the left mouse button and got to the desktop
that way. I’m guessing that there is some kind of notification on the screen
