Thanks much. I'll try it.

In Windows Explorer, highlight the folder the file is in (but not an
individual file within that folder). Press shift-F10. This opens a context
menu, but with a couple of extra options. One of the options is to open a
command window at the folder. This saves you from typing a long folder name
at the command prompt. I didn't try this in Windows 10, but suspect it would
still work.

Subject: Command Prompt

This should be Windows 7 101 but how do I get to the command prompt. I am
trying to delete an undeletable file. The fix suggests going to the command
prompt by clicking Start and typing cmd. If I do that, I am in the search
box of the Start Menu which really doesn’t help. Should I go to the Run
dialogue? Additionally, is there a way to send the entire path of a file to
the clipboard for later use?
