Hi Mike, Press Insert-2, not the two on the NumPad, but the other one, and press it repeatedly until you hear Keyboard voice on with characters. Now, assuming your Scope for this setting is set to global in the current set file, this will be the default global setting, but then you must open the Window-Eyes control panel and press Control-S to save it globally.
