Don, I just did some testing on my Windows 10 PC with Window-Eyes 9.3.1 and NVDA 2015.4. My testing showed that the Staples website presented major issues for both screen readers when using Internet Explorer. But, when I tested the same page in Firefox, I was able to use the Search field without issue. So, my best suggestion is to try using Firefox for this particular website as it seems to not play well with Internet Explorer. I often find that Firefox handles dynamic websites like this one better than Internet Explorer. Good luck. Regards, Marc
