Hi Robin,

To select text,
First, find the beginning of the text you wish to select.
Press the F8 key.
Find the end of the text.
Press F8 again.
You will now get a screen asking if you want to copy plain text or reset your selection. Press enter or the spacebar on the plain text button to copy the information to your clipboard. If you pressed F8 on the wrong information, press enter/spacebar on the reset selection.
Of course, you can cancel, also.

In the event that you wish to copy an email address or a link, you can press F8 twice without the need to move to the end of the text.

I hope this was helpful.

Carol

Hello list, and to the staff of AI Squared. I wanted to tell you guys that I
have been telling organizations for people with disabilities about
Window-Eyes, especially the free version of Window-Eyes for office users, and they are very impressed that there is an affordable option. Because I got Window-Eyes certified and I told them all of this, they want me to train
their sighted trainers on Window-Eyes, as the trainers are familiar with
jfw, and zoomtext, but not Window-Eyes. I understand, AI Squared that you have excilent training materials, webinars, etc to help new people learn it. I will also be showing them the insert key layout, and the jaws quick key application. However, I do have a question. Jeremy, when you do training for
Window-Eyes on location, what configuration options do you set so that
students won't have to worry about losing speech, or having to troubleshoot
problems during the training? For example, I've got my theme in windows
clasik mode and I get more information from Window-Eyes if I'm in the
windows clasik mode.. I'm looking forward to this. Thanks, Sky.
