OK so I turned the pitch global setting on in both the keyboard and the
screen in the WE ControlPanel.
The pitch settings worked in Visual Studio but not as I wanted.
The pitch change is not very noticeable when typing or reading one character
at a time but apparent when reading a line of code or a word.
The entire word, or all words if each has a capital letter at the front, is
read in a higher pitch.
This is not good for coding or reading quickly through a block of code.
A read word or read line should not read an entire word in a higher pitched
voice, no pitch change during a read word, read line or read to end should
be noticeable only when typing or reading one character at a time or at
least I think that is how it has been in the past - am I wrong or has this
indeed changed?
Perhaps there is some setting that controls this?
As for Rods Scritp, I have seen the code, well earlier versions, and it
looks like the speech text is just passed into it from the WE program so why
wouldn't that work?
Is it possible WindowEyes is not passing his script the text?
Hay Rod, After you get the new version approved perhaps I will download,
update, it and see if I can edit it in the apps group of the WE Control
Panel Dialogues.
If I can figure it out I can ensure it is getting executed, passed some
speech lines of text, while in Visual Studio.
If not I will post to the scripting list and we can see what is going on.
