I just did all that, and ran security andmade sure that "allow all apps radio button was checked, and ok, and still no apps show up after toggling from on to off, saving the configuration in window-eyes, and then turning on apps, and re-saving. Nothing is running though I've a bunch of apps.

try looking in the app management section.
they may say the status is on but in app management they may say they are stopped. if so tab to the security control on the bottom of the screen. you may have to tell windows to allow all apps to run before they will work.

Subject: apps! OFF? or! what?

For some reason, ever since my upgrade to 9.3.1, my APPS status is
flakey! Often I find them not working, where all the APPS condition
should be toggled on, when in fact though it says "on," they are not
either responding to hot key, or time instance, or status of the
screen when the progress A

APP should be "beeping" at me.
I wonder why this is? When I "re-installed," the APPSthat were
installed from the new install seemed to work, but now, they are
"gone" again, though installed and according to the WE control pannel, "on."
Hmm! Any ideas?
