Hi Tom, It's fine to continue to write on this or any subjects related to accessibility since we can never actually be certain when using software whether we're dealing wit accessibility issues or not, and the experience of fellow Window-Eyes users can help to clarify the situation.
Hth, Rod -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tom Fairhurst via Talk Sent: January 13, 2016 6:33 PM To: talk viaGW <[email protected]> Subject: Bible Seeker: Great Idea But Another Disappointment for Blind Users I have downloaded the program, but I’m only able to access the King James version. That is fine, but I got the impression that additional translations were available. Not only are they not available as far as I can tell, but no way is provided to add them. Several of the commentaries provided are only introductions. I finally located the site for Ragan Lockette, but it is no better. It seems you may have to set up an account with the Software Informer web site to contact them. The site is full of recommendations, comments, and links to other third-party programs. I hope they haven’t cast Bible Seeker into outer darkness. I hope it’s not going the way of Winamp. Sorry I have written for the third time on this, so won’t write again. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
