Regarding the We The People petition to get the DOJ to move on accessibility -
when I signed the petition, I was not confident that it "took". I did, however, get a confirmation email from We The People, asking me to click on a link to verify my signature. If you don't get one of these, I would try again, or have someone help you, or, contact Gabe at NFB to have him complete the petition for you. Gabe sponsored the petition. He has a vested interest in making sure that all people that want to sign the petition can do so. His contact information is: Gabe Cazares Government Affairs Specialist National Federation of the Blind 200 East Wells Street At Jernigan Place Baltimore, MD 21230 E: [email protected] P: 410-659-9314 Ext. 2206 Also, please contact your friends and family and business contacts to consider signing the petition. Also, contact your O & M instructor, your guide dog school, co-workers, fellow students, teachers, etc. To get 100,000 signatures we will need all of the people that understand the problem to sign the petition. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so I encourage all of us to make some noise!
