is your bookmark list opened?
w e hangs every time i open the bookmark list with control i.
i have to press control i a second time then wait for w e or firefox to un hang
and start working again.
it only does this with w e not nvda or narrator. it does this with both win7
and 10 64bit.
my work around is to turn browse mode and auto load off off then open the
bookmark list. then it will not hang.

As far as I know I do not have flash, as regarding website home page i change
it from the default to the google.com, and it usually crashes especially if you
try to press ctrl+l and start typing www.etc.etc

Do you have flash enabled in Firefox?, do you have third party extensions
installed? Does it happen on specific web sites?

Could someone explain me why in the world ms-firefox v43 or v42 are crashing so
much with the rock solid screen reader like window-eyes v9.3. this is happens
especially on windows 10 computers.
Why this behaviour does not exist when using the free competitive screen reader
like NVDA?
