OK, I hope not, but here goes.
For some reason, this morning I was trying to look at the properties for
some folders, and as long as I stayed within the general tab, I was ok,
but when tabbing to another sheet, the box locks up, and so does WE, or
at least it stops talking. When I open WE again, it tells me that
properties isn't responding, and when I close the window, I get a kinda
brief darkened flash before the nonresponding window is actually closed.
Did I once again mess with the wrong setting, and if so, what do I do
next? Seems like I saw something about disabling all properties, but I
can't remember where. Maybe it was in the personal settings in the
desktop settings area. Might have to go back and check.
I can just hear people crying out "No, No, just leave things alone
before you" . . .
BTW, Thanks to all of you for your help with my desktop yesterday. Steve
Clower's fix ultimately did the trick, so a big thank you to Steve.
