Dave,

I'm assuming the set file you're talking about is Explorer.set.
1. Open the Window-Eyes control panel.
2. Alt-F File.
3. F factory settings.
4. Scroll down or hit W until you land on Windows Explorer.
5. Tab to the Install button and hit space bar.
6. Confirm any prompts to overwrite files.
7. Reload Window-Eyes and all should be back to normal.

* Global settings are not stored within .set files. So none of your global settings will not change. Any settings with program scope will return to the defaults and you'll have to make those changes again. These are settings you would have to have changed yourself as well as the scope to Program. The same goes for any program scoped default settings you changed as they will be back to their defaults.

There are three set files associated with Windows Explorer: Explorer.set, Explorer001.set, and Explorer002.set.

You can open them from within the Window-Eyes control panel with Control-O, make changes, and save them without messing up the current association or set file.

Hth,
Tom

Hello,

I was working on a Set File for a new program, and I did not Associate it
correctly, so now I have all of my changes saved to the file that WE
uses when Windows 7 first starts up.

Is there a way to push a magic Button and have this main set file go
back to Factory Defaults?

I see the Factory Settings Choice, but I do not wish to change every set
file, but just the one that runs when Win 7 is at its desk top.

Thanks for any reply,

Grumpy Dave
