Hi Carol, Try Insert-2 (not the Numpad 2) and press it repeatedly until you hear Keyboard on with characters, and then save the setting in the WE control panel.

In Windows Explorer, and some of my other programs, my computer will no longer let me know when I have cut pasted or copied something to or from the clipboard. How can I get that feature back? Currently, I have turned on the speaking of special keys, but that does exactly what it is supposed to do, speak things like shift or control, but it does not speak the letters that I add to them.
