It has been a while since I worked with this feature, but I had a reason to
do so today. I added a name to a category. I went to the category to which I
wanted to add a contact. I'm not sure you need to do so. The first thing you
must do is to press the Alt key. Tab till you reach Edit Category and press
Enter. Arrow down till you reach the category you desire and press Enter.
When you tab to the right, you will see all your contacts. One more tab to
the right displays all the E-mail addresses of those in your category. At
this point, I tabbed back to the list of all my contacts. I pressed
Control-C the contact into the clipboard. I tabbed to the E-mail addresses
and pasted it from the clipboard. It worked. If you wish to delete a
contact, I would do so from the E-mail address list to be sure you don't
delete the contact permanently but only from the list. I haven't tried that
yet. There may be another way to do this, but that is what I've found so
far. Hope this helps.
