I have also noticed this and Yes this has happened to me as well.
Here is an interesting point to make  if you use lets say
window eyes for a bit and then want to switch to NVDA after you have gotten done using NVDA and shut NVDA off and turn on window eyes the browsers no matter if you are using internet explorer, fire fox, or google crome you have to always go out of the browser because you have no browse mode to rely on this is something that has been happening since window eyes 9.0 through 9.3
