Hi: This has been happening to me as well lately. I will open a program, do some work and close it and I end up on the task bar, either the start item or if focus is lost during working in the program sometimes in the view task button item on the task bar instead of being returned to the desktop. Also, often when WE seemingly locks up if I tab I find I have been placed in the task bar even if in other programs and especially when things start slowing down, we starts locking up for a few seconds etc... It seems WE is struggling at figuring out where focus should be, where the user is working or where something is going on someplace in the task bar. Also, sometimes, all the time pretty much, if I boot up and sit for a few seconds on the desktop I hear WindowEyes speak the words "Clear Button" and then WE is locked up as far as the arrow keys are concerned and I think I find myself in the task bar once again. Tabbing will get me back but there sure sounds like there are some problems with how WindowEyes is handling automatic dynamic actions occuring in Windows10 when it comes to the insertion point and the focus positions. Finally, when WE locks up if I fire up narrator I hear WindowEyes, not narrator, speak "Give Us Feedback" then narrator will say "Starting Narrator" I forget if window eyes speaks the "Give us feedback" before or after narrator says "starting narrator" will now start narrator while typing to see... OK WE speaks, while in this message, "Give us feedback" before narrator starts speaking. I closed narrator and WindowEyes was locked up, no arrow keys until I tabbed and WE then came back so I could type but there was a tab character in this message - I removed it, but that indicates that focus and the insertion point were not in the same place or something along those lines which sounds like what allot of these problems may be related to for WindowEyes.
