I am using adblock Plus with Internet Explorer. I do sometimes get lockups. But not often, perhaps once or twice a week. The lockups seem to happen on sites with dynamic content and, strangely, on the BARD site. I am using Window-eyes 8.4 on an old XP machine with 4 GB of memory and IE 8. Yes, I know it is old but it isn't giving me trouble. And yes, I know it is less secure than later versions of IE. So we can skip that part of the discussion for now.
