when on the KB3035583 check it then open a context menu to hide it.

you could download a program called gwx control. this will remove the KB3035583 hack. remove the hidden windows_bt folder that contains the windows 10 setup files and the gwx program from the windows/system32 folder. this is the program that is downloading the windows 10 files.

Subject: Where to find an option for hiding updates

Listers,

When it comes to this constantly nagging message about upgrading to
windows 10, I have never been able to locate an option within the
Windows update sheet for hiding updates. For this reason, I have
resorted to simply uninstalling the thing, but of course it shows up the
very next time I update my computer. Heck, I even made a shortcut to the
hide or unhide updates from Win Utilities, went to that screen, and
still could find no option to hide or unhide. This doesn't make any
sense. Looks to me like they have at least semi successfully hidden that
feature from me, but obviously not to the rest of you. Could someone
please tell me exactly what I should be looking for, so I don't have to
take such a drastic measure as uninstalling this annoying piece of work?

Thanks,

Larry
