Hi: No one should be forced to upgrade, if what they're working with works for them.
Though I have not had the issues with Windows 10 you have, and I am doing pretty well under Windows 10, I see no urgency if someone does not want to update to Windows 10. My wife, for example, is quite happy with Windows 8.1. It does what she wants, and, she is happy with that. Interestingly, I did install Windows 10 on her computer, but, the HD decided to fail at about the same time, so the computer would randomly reboot.
