From within Windows Explorer hit Alt-V View and then tab down to File Extensions and Hidden items and check them.
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming
should then be visible.

When you hit control-Escape you're landing in the cortana search box in the start menu.

i don't know where it is. but you have to find the folder options and
unhide system files. then the apdata and the rest of sub folders will show.
i also unhide extentions for known file tipes.
i don't understand microsoft logic for this one. how are you suppose to
know if a file is a executable, text, pdf or a image file without the
extention.

Subject: some win 10 questions

Hey guys, ok i need a little help with win 10.
Some minor configuration stuff that i need to get fixed. Every time i
press control escape, it says certona or curtona, something like that.
What on earth does that mean?
.Also, i am trying to bring over all my thunderbird email but something
seems different. On my win 7 machine, i went in to users, apdata, and
roming and copied the thunderbird folder, and saved it on a harddrive on
my win 10 machine, i don't seem to have an appdata roming, and
thunderbird folder, even though i have installed thunderbird. Where do
i put all my mail?

Thanks,
Jed
