Hi Jed, If you're selecting apps to launch through the Cortana search list, use up and down arrow keys to be sure that the item is properly selected. Indeed, use Control-Shift-S or Control-Numpad-5 to read the current item to be certain. As for the Messaging app, I've read about it on the web and it promises to be powerful in the future, but, at present, it is not fully intergrated into the operating system, as far as I can see. If you want to send text messages within Windows 10, I recommend Skype. There is a program called mysms which has an Android smart phone app, and what it does is allow you to read and send messages to and from your Android phone on your Windows desktop using the installed app. Apple has prevented the app from working with their devices. Again, this is what I know, and, of corse, others may know more.
