Hi Marc, Sky here. This is what you to do set Window-Eyes to turn on at start up 1. press control-back slash to enter the Window-Eyes control panel. 2. press g as in golf to go to the general option on the treview and press the right arro key to expand the tre view.
3. press S until Window-Eyes says, "startup options. 4. press the tab key. Window-Eyes will tell you what the start up options are set to. Just ignore that as that is a summary that you can't change. In this case, press tab a second time. The next option you hear is, "global startup options set options... dialog button. At this point, press the space bar. At this point, a dialog box opens. The first check box that comes up is "Run Window-Eyes at the log-in screen." If you don't have another account, or have your computer set up to not ask for a password, uncheck the check box. Press the tab key again. The next check box you come to is, "Run Window-Eyes after startup for all users. By default, this check box is checked. If its not, just press the space bar to check it. 5. press enter to activate the ok button. 6. Press the tab key again. The next option you come to is a group of 3 radio buttons. It is labled, "After logging in, Run Window-Eyes." There are 3 options. Using the all users settings. This means that when Window-Eyes starts up automaticly, it will be using whatever configuration you set in the all users settings in the set options dialog. The next option is never. This means that Window-Eyes will be set up not to come on automaticly when the computer starts. And finally, the last option is, always. This means that Window-Eyes will always be starting up when your computer starts. I hope this helps you answer your questions. Thanks, Sky. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mark Brett via Talk Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2016 12:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: WE at start up Hi I am new to wE and want to know how to have WE come on when I turn on the laptop Thanks Mark _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
