I got the unit in December of 2015, but just now got around to trying it with Window-Eyes 9.4. I have Windows 7 64-bit Pro. As far as I know, the display is working fine standing alone with its internal programs, reading PDFs, MS Word documents, Excel, etc. However, when I attach it to my PC via USB, and use it as a braille display, entire lines are not shown. It doesn’t matter whether whole word mode is on or off. It doesn’t matter if scrolling is set to display width or a selected number of characters;. Window-Eyes is seeing the entire line because it is spoken when the line is read. I have tried expanding spacing. Things were a bit better but not acceptable. The U2 is not useable unless entire lines can be scrolled through.; As far as I know, the I have installed the latest braille driver. How can I be sure if it is running? While I don’t have a burning need to use itas a braille display, it would be nice to have it work properly. As a final thought, I have these issues whether I scroll using my PC or with U2 keys. Yes, I have closed and restarted Window-Eyes after making changes to braille settings in Window-Eyes. Any help would be appreciated. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
