first open the w e pull down menus to help and check the advanced view to show all the w e options. now look in verbocity/browse mode/auto loadautod/automatic form interaction and turn it off. also if you use arrow keys instead of tabbing past edit boxes they will not be actavated.

Subject: How do I. . . ?

Hello,

Had to redo Window Eyes 9.4, and now I am customizing items to my taste.

However, I can not find one item.

When I start up Internet Explorer, or Firefox, when I arrive on a Page
that has an Edit Box, Window eyes will automatically make the click
Noise and is allowing me to type something into this Edit box. Many
times I do not want to type anything in. So I am turn On Browse Mode,
and then WE IL automatically turn it off, and so I turn it back ON, and
We turns it off.

What setting controls this behavior?

Thanks for any reply,

Dave
