Hi Don,

Here is what I do:
Press the start button (the one with the circle or Windows logo on it)
type in the name of the program you want to create a shortcut for.
Press the context (applications) key.
Press the letter "n" for "send to"
Press the letter "d" to create a desktop shortcut.
Once you have created the shortcut on the desktop, you can rename it to anything that is meaningful to you.
