Hi there!
Not certain of whether or not you received an answer to your question ore not, but generally windows will automatically restart and you should still have window-Eyes. If you are receiving an update to Windows 7 or earlier W.E. should workd just fine. I think if there is any sort of prompting, W.E. should let you know. I am now running windows 10 but I ran W.E.8.4 for a short time. Good Luck and Have A Great Day! de
