go to the top of the page and see if it has the option to use screen reader view.
it will say something like
screen reader users click here to turn off instent view.
then you won't have this problem. but if you are eraseing your browser history when i e closes these settings will erase too because the settings are in a cookie that google saves on your computer.

Subject: a w/e focus problem

win 7 64 bit ie-11 latest w/e. when i go to google search i use this
link because it lands me directly on the search box.
https://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en
however, after i put in the search term i am taking to the results
page, landing to the left of the address bar and browse mode is still
off, so i have to tab about 4 times to get back to the active window,
turn browse mode back on and then press 3 and then h to get to the
results. i have w/e set to active window, any way to make it land
where it is supposed too and browse mode auto load, it always does on
other sites. and i don't have it set to interact with forms, thanks
