I have noticed these things since I have installed the newest version of Thunderbird.
First, when reading a certain email, a kind of minicatalog, WE is very slow to respond when I arrow down through the message. This does not happen with shorter messages.
Second, when I am writing a message in Thunderbird, the backspace doesn't always work when I want to correct a mistake; when I press it, I get the Windows sound.
