Hi Larry,
Why not save the file attachment to a folder just for that purpose.
This way, when you need to send the attachment, you will always be in
the correct folder, once you have selected it the first time. Now, if
there are more than one file in that folder, all you need to do is type
the first couple of lettters of the file name and then press down arrow
to select the file and press enter. So, the command would be:
alt-f, h, enter, type in letters, down arrow, enter.
In my case, my Carol folder is my default and I usually know just what
the file name is I am looking for, so a couple of keystrokes does the
trick to locate the file in question.

would like to know if there is any way for one to simply add an
attachment into a message in Thunderbird, rather than having to go
through the rigmarole of going through the various folders looking for
the file you wish to attach. Maybe there is a neat little add on that
