Hi Rod
Well, so far the trick doesn't seem to be working. I've tried toggling
both the main Winamp window and playlist editor window, but nothing
seems to be helping things.
The playlist editor doesn't even read without any scripts installed.
It's funny, because when I was using Windows 7 just a few short days
ago, the playlist editor read perfectly, just as it should. But on this
Windows 10 machine, certain things are a bit different and i'm not sure
why it is.
Thanks though, i'll keep trying!

Hi Chris,
Please be certain that the main window is closed.
Use the File menu to verify this, and Alt-W toggles it.
It's often a combination of Alt-E which toggles the playlist editor and
Alt-W repeatedly which wil return things back to normal.
And you may and usually do need to close Winamp to do it.
Good luck,
Rod

Subject: Re: Winamp playlist editor is silent when arrowing up and down
Hi folks, especially Chuck
Unfortunately, that little trick didn't work. I can tell when I'm switching
Winamp Windows with control plus tab, and Window-eyes successfully announces
which window i'm focused on, but when arrowing up and down in the playlist
editor, none of the list items will speak. I even went so far as to make
sure that the skin I was using is the classic one, and indeed, it is. I've
tried every trick I can think of, and nothing seems to work. This is a
brand new pc running Windows 10 64-bit.
Great ideas for sure and I definitely appreciate it! I hope I can get it
working again.

Chris, I have had that problem myself. I hit alt e to close the playlist
window and then I hit alt e again and the playlist will usualy re-open. Hope
that helps. Its always worked for me! Chuck

Hi folks
I just now noticed that this was happening, the subject line basicly says
it. For whatever reason, when arrowing up and downin the Winamp playlist
editor, Window-eyes 9.4.0 does not speak each item as I arrow up and down to
it. in other words if I arrow up and down, nothing happens. I've tried
resetting the scripts produced by Jeff Bishop and even gone so far as to
remove them, thinking their may be some kind of odd conflict somewhere.
Unfortunately, nothing I've tried helps, and I've tried absolutely
everything I can think of. Does anyone have anyideas?
Thanks.
